That Was Summer

That was Summer

Have you ever heard summer?

Sure you have

Remember that time, when you heard the waves roar and the children splashing from a distance?

Remember hearing the sausage sizzle and your dad asking “Is lunch is ready yet?”

 That was summer

Have you ever smelt summer?

sure you have!

Remember that time, you waited impatiently, craving the meat that your dad was cooking?

By smelling it you could already sense what it was going to taste like.

That was summer.

Have  you ever tasted summer?

Sure you have

Remember that time, when you enjoyed the melting ice cream in your mouth leaving a sweet taste in your mouth?.

That was summer

Have you ever smelt summer?

Sure you have!

Remember that time when you saw the swimming pool water so shimmering in the sunlight?

That was summer.

Have you ever felt summer?

sure you have!

Remember that time, the cool breeze on a hot night was blowing your hair and making it fly?

And that was the only way to fall asleep?

That was summer.

Room 11

Sun city

While the jaguar was carefully watching the city he found two travellers, one was siting on a camel and the other was walking slowly behind the camel, the jaguar kept an eye on the travellers as they cautiously walked towards the city. After some time during the day the jaguar found the travellers in the city collecting wood and sticks to make a fort. They were collecting the wooden logs to restore all the broken buildings in their town. Later that day the two travellers started exploring the city and found vultures.

The vulture wasn’t that smart as he thought that he can be safe in a low ground. He didn’t know that the jaguar was quietly watching him waiting for the right moment to attack. In a stalk-and-ambush style typical of jaguars, the stealthy cat silently emerges from the bushes. Once the vulture notices the jaguar, it takes to the air in an attempt to escape, but doesn’t get very far. With lightning reflexes, the cat snatches the bird mid-air and pins it to the ground. After a quick battle with the vulture struggling to escape its predator the triumphant jaguar walks away with the bird dangling from its jaws.

The Day The Crayons Quit

Dear Duncan

This is blue Crayon I am very short and tired because you use me for nearly everything here is the list of what you use me for. Water, Sky, Puddles, Rain, surgeon masks ,Police officer costumes and jeans. I am very exhausted you have overworked me to my limits that I am now the shortest out of all the crayons my clothes are too big on me. Blue crayon needs a break from colouring all those bodies of water. You’ve been using me for as long as I can remember and not giving me a break.

At times it feels like I’m the only crayon in the box,I always work everyday and even on the holidaysI am very exhausted I am asking for a break if you let me have a break for a while then I will be happy.

Your exhausted friend blue crayon.
